Before relying on it
Test the feeder over several normal feeding cycles while you are still at home. Check that the portion is appropriate, the food does not bridge or clog, and the mounting is secure. Humidity can affect dry food flow, so inspect the feeder regularly.
Important note
An automatic feeder does not replace routine aquarium checks. If you are away, arrange for someone to check fish, water conditions and equipment when practical, especially for longer absences.
