These Terms of Service govern use of TheTailClawShop.com and purchases from The Tail&Claw Shop. They should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.

2. Using the website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its security or operation, submit fraudulent orders, misuse another person’s information, or infringe intellectual-property rights.
3. Product information
We take reasonable care to present product characteristics, dimensions, colours, images, prices and availability accurately. Screen settings can affect how colours appear. Product instructions, warnings and suitability information should be reviewed before use. If a material error is discovered before dispatch, we will contact you and offer a corrected order or a full refund.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected for your market. Applicable taxes are included or calculated as indicated at checkout. Any delivery charge or other amount payable by you is shown before you place the order. Payment is processed by the payment provider selected at checkout; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the selected products. You will receive an electronic acknowledgement. A sales contract is formed when we accept the order for fulfilment. We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including failed payment, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error, delivery restrictions or loss of availability. If payment has been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, we will refund it.
6. Delivery
Processing, delivery estimates, tracking, split shipments and delivery restrictions are explained in our Shipping Policy. We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you identify to receive them, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Return and Refund Policy explains the voluntary 30-day return period and the statutory right of withdrawal for EU/EEA consumers. It also explains return costs, refund timing, exceptions and how to use the model withdrawal statement. Mandatory consumer rights are not restricted by these Terms.
8. Legal guarantee and faulty goods
Goods must conform to the contract and match their description. Consumers in the EU have a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, and national law may provide longer protection. If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us. The remedies available under applicable law may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, without necessary return costs being charged to the consumer.
9. Safe and appropriate use
Follow the product description, supplied instructions and warnings. Select the correct size and supervise animals where the product or activity requires supervision. Stop using any damaged product. These precautions do not reduce the seller’s responsibility for product safety, conformity or statutory consumer rights.
10. Reviews and user content
Content you submit must be genuine, relevant and lawful. It must not be misleading, abusive, defamatory or infringe another person’s rights. We may moderate or remove content for these reasons. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it in connection with the store and its promotion.
11. Intellectual property
The website’s original text, branding, layout and visual content belong to The Tail&Claw Shop or are used with permission. You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes, but may not reproduce its content for commercial use without permission.
12. Third-party services and links
The store uses independent service providers for functions such as hosting, payment and delivery. Their own terms may apply when you choose to use their service. External links are provided for convenience and do not transfer responsibility for third-party websites to us.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right. Subject to those protections, neither party is responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
14. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. Shopify provides the commerce platform used by this store.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future website use and future orders. The version in effect when an order is placed applies to that order unless a change is required by law or is expressly agreed with you.
16. Governing law and disputes
Latvian law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protection granted by the law of your country of residence. Courts and alternative dispute-resolution options remain available as provided by applicable mandatory law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint directly. 17. Severability and contact
